When you pick a function, the selected text is sent to our server and forwarded to our AI provider (Groq) to be processed. It is not stored: it lives in memory only for the seconds the request takes, and it is never written to any database, log or file. We do not use it for training and we do not share it with anyone beyond the provider that performs the processing.
On install, the extension generates a random identifier with no link to your identity. It is used to recognise this installation. On its own it is not an account and cannot be traced back to you.
To use the full free allowance you sign in with Google. We receive and store
two things: your Google account identifier and your email address. We use them
for one purpose only: to count your daily free requests against your account
instead of your device, and to restore your subscription if you reinstall. We
request the minimum scopes (openid and email): we
cannot read your Gmail, your contacts or your files. The access token is not
stored: it is exchanged for the account identifier and discarded. This is
personal data under the GDPR, and you may request its deletion at any time by
writing to the address below.
Stored as a daily counter only, to prevent abuse of the free tier. It is not linked to your texts.
If you subscribe, the payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details never pass through our servers. We only keep the subscription identifier, its status and the email you gave Stripe.
Usage counters are kept for 30 days. Subscription data is kept while the subscription is active and for the period required by tax law.
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, and object to its processing. Write to [email protected]. You can also delete everything yourself by uninstalling the extension: the identifier disappears with it.
